The project covers an area of about 617,000 square meters, from the mouth of the Ponterosso Canal, close to the city center, to the town of Barcola. The area includes 5 piers, more than 3,100 meters of docks and 23 large buildings, including hangars, warehouses and other largely abandoned structures.
The objective will be to transform and redevelop this vast portion of the Old Port into a new urban district, integrating public and private functions.
